I can’t believe we’ve had this kind of snow two years in a row. It was a lot of fun this year for all of us to go out and play in the snow. We built a snowman, had snowball fights, and they didn’t even cancel school.

We were skeptical when the news said that snow was coming. We looked out and it was raining, but no snow. Then suddenly it dropped about 4 inches of snow in about two hours.

The kids were dying to go out, and we held out as long as we could, but eventually, we had to go out. It was a lot of fun, but the snow was very wet and we got cold really fast. We did build a couple snow men and had tons of snow balls thrown at me.

That was all on Sunday. On Monday, we were expecting a cancelled school, but they didn’t. I was amazed since schools down here usually close at the sight of any snow.

The snow stayed on the ground for about 3 days afterwards.
