Snow Day
Evie loved playing in the snow. She was having fun when I picked her up from school because of all the snow flakes that were falling in her hair.
Thursday morning, it started to sleet. Then, by around noon, it started to snow. Over the next 24 hours, it would lay down 5 inches of snow in Italy, and twice that much in the DFW metroplex.
When the kids got home on Thursday, we had to go out and start to make a snow man. It was the most snow that any of my family had ever seen.
Friday morning I woke up, and realized that overnight we had gotten another 3". I tried to work, but the kids kept calling me and wanting me to go out and play. Together we made 3 snowmen, and started to build a fort.
Another fun thing we did Friday morning was drive around and take pictures of the Italy for the Neotribune. We took pictures for two stories:
